Text Box: "Are you looking for me?" The voice was crystal-clear. I jumped nearly out of my socks, sending Mom’s Buckingham china to the floor. There, on the ledge of the window, just above the sink, sat the lady. She was more beautiful than I had remembered. Her long braid had been undone, a richly framed face greeted me with a smile. I stood there not knowing what to say. She was the alien, but I felt strangely out of place.

Timothy Matthews has been bitten by a strange disease.  The doctor, speaking in hushed tones to his parents, says he has only a few months.  At the family cabin, Timothy struggles with his fears

festered along by the “tremils,” a shaking in his knees that snatches strength from his legs.  And then it happens!

A chance encounter with a most unusual woman about to die herself will grip Timothy in a new sense of fear and wonder.  Or was it chance that sends him on a fantastic adventure to Talyara, a place of friend and fiend?  Angelina, the beautiful stranger, was not jeopardized

under the shadow of an exotic disease as was Timothy, but by the brutal warriors of Mahershala.

 

Fearful of his own weakness, and intoxicated by Angelina’s beauty, Timothy sets out on an adventure that will change his life forever, and perhaps save the life of  Windwalker.
